Why Sound was founded by Tim Moes as a Venue/Recording Studio.  Tim moved to Cache Valley in 2006 from New York City were he worked as a Recording engineer/live engineer  Tim teamed up with Robert Linton to build the business.  Robert Linton is a accomplished guitar player and producer in the cache valley area.

The Venue opened up in April of 2007 and has established its reputation for producing top quality shows over the last year.  We have hosted bands and performers from all over the world.  We pride ourselves in supporting local music in Northern Utah and hosting show of all styles of music from Jazz to scremo metal.
